Job summary

Confidential, a well established Independent Financial Advisor based in Godalming, is seeking a Financial Administrator to support end-to-end processing for new business, existing clients and back-office operations within a friendly, long‑standing wealth management team.

You will manage pensions, investments, tax planning, retirement planning and IHT; study support is provided, accessible parking is available, and you'll work closely with paraplanners and seasoned advisers.

Qualifications

• End-to-end administration across pensions, investments, tax planning, retirement planning and IHT.
• Experience in back-office processing for new and existing clients.
• Willingness to develop through study support and exams.

My client are a very well established Independent Financial Advisor (IFA) based in Godalming who have been operating for over 20 years with a full suite of financial advisers and mortgage advisers servicing local families, retirees and HNW private individuals. I have met the Directors and been to the offices and placed 8 staff into the business. Their clients primarily are based across Surrey, Hampshire and London, but they do have clients further afield. Clients hold anywhere between £100k to £1m+ of investable assets with a few families holding in excess of £2m of investments.

The business has very longstanding relations with their clients, but they do hold relationships with numerous professional sports clubs where they generate new business. Following a very good 12 months with lots of new business coming into the advisers' inboxes, plus a recent acquisition being completed, the Managing Director is seeking an experienced Financial Administrator who can assist with end to end processing all of all new business, existing clients and contributing all round to the smooth running of the back office function.

This role will suit a career administrator, but if you have ambitions to progress then they can offer this route. You will be confident with end to end admin work on pensions, investments, tax planning, retirement planning and IHT. You will benefit from study support for any exams you are undertaking, accessible parking, extensive exposure to working with Paraplanners and an experienced advisers.
