Job summary

AAB in Horsham is seeking a Client Relationship Support within our Wealth department. You will support Financial Planners, build client relationships, and help prepare cash flow reports and suitability analyses to support financial plans.

The role requires 1-2 years of relevant experience, ability to work to tight deadlines, and strong teamwork and communication. DipPFS in progress is desirable; we offer training and development in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Financial Planners, applying your technical knowledge to provide client solutions.
  • Apply a collaborative approach to achieve the best client outcomes, delivering excellent levels of client service.
  • Build client relationships, establishing a key point of contact role for clients.
  • Carry out research, analysis and due diligence of client holdings.
  • Prepare technical calculations.
  • Identify information required to compile a financial plan.
  • Prepare client cash flow reports, using our cash flow modelling software.
  • Prepare suitability reports to a high standard, in line with our recommendations.
  • Attend client meetings where appropriate.
  • Ensure the planners, and clients, are updated regularly and in a timely manner throughout the client journey.
  • Work to target KPIs / Service Level Agreements.
  • Work collaboratively with the client services support team, to ensure recommendations are correctly implemented.
  • Review client files upon completion of business.
  • Actively promote ideas and suggestions and participate in all business improvements as part of the firm’s commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Adhere to regulatory conduct rules and understand professional ethics and the firm’s methods and standards of working.
  • Keep up to date with legislative changes and always adhere to compliance requirements.

ROLE PURPOSE

Key duties & responsibilities:

Experience & qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

  • CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (DipPFS) (working towards)

EXPERIENCE

  • 1-2 years’ relevant work experience
  • Working to tight deadlines

  • Technical compliance and advisory work

KNOWLEDGE

  • Financial products and plans and simple technical calculations
  • Good working knowledge of relevant legislation and industry best practice
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and relevant software packages
