Client Relationship Manager, Family Office

Our client is seeking an experienced Client Relationship Manager to oversee and develop key relationships within a family office environment. This full-time role requires expertise in managing and servicing Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) and High Net Worth (HNW) clients, providing exceptional client services, and driving business development. The successful candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of trust and company administration while delivering high levels of productivity and compliance.

Job Duties
  • Manage day-to-day operations for a portfolio of family office client relationships.
  • Enhance and maintain strong relationships with clients and their family office executive teams.
  • Lead client meetings, provide updates, and respond to queries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Identify and promote cross-selling opportunities and deepen service offerings for existing clients.
  • Actively participate in business development activities to grow assets under management (AUM).
  • Achieve annual AUM and revenue targets as part of the budget process.
  • Maintain accurate records of new business activities via pipeline systems for management information reporting.
  • Provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentoring to junior team members, ensuring productivity and high-quality client service.
  • Prioritise workflow within the client portfolio and offer guidance to junior team members as needed.
  • Liaise with clients and intermediaries regarding transactions, including the preparation of resolutions, agreements, and other documentation.
  • Adhere to regulatory and compliance requirements, including AML legislation, to mitigate risk.
  • Demonstrate technical and commercial knowledge of complex transactions.
  • Participate in or oversee ad hoc projects as required.
Job Requirements
  • Proven experience in trust and company administration, with excellent technical skills.
  • Significant experience in managing UHNW and HNW clients.
  • Strong ability to identify and meet client requirements.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of UK tax regulations for offshore trusts and UK resident individuals.
  • Understanding of corporate and trust structuring and corporate governance principles in a family setting.
  • A background in financial services, with an understanding of operating within a regulated framework.
  • A minimum of 15 years' experience in the financial services industry.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data clearly to clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage changing priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
