The Client Relationship Manager is responsible for nurturing relationships with existing clients. This includes proactive account management, identifying upsell opportunities, and ensuring service renewals. The successful candidate will build a strong rapport with clients to meet sales targets and deliver exceptional support that strengthens long-term partnerships.
Client Relationship & Account Management
- Represent Target professionally, upholding company values at all times
- Understand and align with Target's mission to continuously improve company performance and reputation
- Develop and nurture trusted relationships with clients and key stakeholders
- Maintain accurate records and update the CRM system consistently
- Schedule and lead reviews to assess client satisfaction with products and services
- Attend client meetings to deepen engagement and strengthen account relationships
- Respond to day-to-day queries, questions, and project updates with clarity and efficiency
- Handle client complaints promptly, professionally, and with integrity-following correct procedures and ensuring corrective actions are completed
- Attending industry events and in person meetings as required
Client Growth & Strategic Engagement
- Achieve strategic growth targets for your allocated clients and update strategy where applicable
- Understand clients' pain points and promote Target's broader service offerings to enhance client value
- Assist with marketing content for nominated clients, such as case studies
- Assist with tender documents for current and prospective clients when required
Contract Management
- Manage assigned accounts, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met
- Agree project timescales with internal stakeholders (when the standard SLA not achievable) and communicate to the client in advance of the project commencing
- Manage contracts (renewals, creation, disputes, and queries)
Skills & Essentials
- Strong alignment with Target Professional Services' core values
- Demonstrated ability to identify client needs and challenges, and propose effective solutions
- Advanced skills in client relationship management. Previous experience in a Client Relationship Manager role is recommended
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and persuasion skills
- Proven track record of delivering outstanding customer service
- Positive, proactive attitude with a high level of motivation and work ethic
- Solid IT literacy
- Highly organized with a strong ability to prioritize tasks and consistently meet deadlines
Package:
- Starting salary Competitive
- Hours (36.25) Monday-Friday between 9am-5pm
- Contract Permanent
- Location Office base Selsey, West Sussex
