Job summary

IQ-EQ is seeking a Client Relationship Director to lead strategic client relationships, drive growth and profitability, oversee service delivery and risk management, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align commercial objectives with regulatory standards.

As a Client Relationship Director, you will lead strategic client relationships, drive business growth and profitability, oversee high-quality service delivery and risk management, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and inspire teams to achieve commercial objectives while maintaining full compliance with regulatory and governance requirements.

What you'll do

• You'll build, manage, and retain key client and partner relationships, acting as the primary point of contact while driving client satisfaction, growth opportunities, cross-selling initiatives, and long-term business development.
• You'll lead business growth and profitability by developing and executing client development plans, pursuing new business opportunities, managing revenue and upsell targets, reviewing fee arrangements, and improving the commercial performance of client portfolios.
• You'll ensure exceptional client service delivery by coordinating teams, overseeing deliverables and deadlines, strengthening client relationships through regular engagement, and implementing improvements that enhance service quality and operational excellence.
• You'll provide strong leadership and people management by fostering collaboration, accountability, knowledge sharing, employee engagement, and professional development while motivating teams to achieve strategic and commercial objectives.
• You'll exercise sound judgment, financial acumen, and risk awareness by ensuring compliance with applicable laws, policies, and regulations, managing complex business challenges, promoting integrity and transparency, and delivering results through strong organizational, analytical, communication, and relationship management skills.

• You possess extensive offshore financial services experience, with strong knowledge of industry products, services, technologies, regulatory frameworks, and cross-jurisdictional cultural considerations

• You bring strong leadership, management, and influencing skills, effectively fostering collaboration, developing high-performing teams, and recruiting top talent to support both immediate and long-term business needs
• You have a solid understanding of corporate governance, risk management, and regulatory engagement, with proven experience working closely with regulators and implementing effective risk mitigation strategies
• You demonstrate exceptional customer focus, communication, and decision-making skills, leveraging strong listening, analytical, and judgment capabilities to understand client needs, deliver practical solutions, and achieve high service standards
