Job summary

Sumer is recruiting a Bookkeeper to manage a portfolio of clients from our Bolton office. You will handle AP/AR, bank reconciliations and VAT returns, and set up Xero for clients wishing to do their own bookkeeping.

You will also train clients on Xero, collaborate with colleagues to meet deadlines, and adapt to a dynamic, team-oriented environment. Permanent, on-site role with on-the-job learning and support.

Qualifications

• Experience in bookkeeping for multiple clients.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and receivable for a portfolio of clients.
• Complete bank reconciliations with accuracy and efficiency.
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns for clients.
• Setting up client software (especially Xero) for clients to do their own bookkeeping.
• Providing helpful training to clients on using Xero.
