A leading technology service provider is seeking a Client Partner to oversee the strategic and financial success of UK Public Sector accounts. This role involves ensuring profitability, driving growth through strategic account management, and maintaining executive-level relationships. The Client Partner is the senior commercial leader responsible for the strategic and financial success of one or more UK Public Sector accounts. They own the full customer relationship contract portfolio and revenue performance ensuring delivery excellence protecting existing run-rate and driving profitable growth.
Acting as the single point of accountability the Client Partner ensures wemaximisespend within existing contracts as well as leading pursuits for core opportunities ( typically
Own the commercial and contractual relationship for assigned accounts ensuring profitable revenue delivery and sustained growth.
Develop and execute multi-year account strategies that align with customer goals and Version 1s sectorobjectives.
Ensure account-level profitability customer satisfaction (CSAT / NPS) and adherence to commercial targets (Revenue TCV Margin).
Drive strategic alignment with Version1spartner ecosystem (AWS Microsoft Oracle etc.) to create differentiated customer value.
Work with one or more Senior Delivery Partners to ensure delivery excellence and customer advocacyrecognisingthat delivery performance sits within the DeliveryOrganisation.
Enable drive and track delivery-led selling to expand our footprint within existing contracts.
Build andmaintainexecutive-level trust positioning Version 1 as a long-term strategic partner.
Respond proactively to any decline in customer confidence or satisfaction ensuring issues are addressed collaboratively and transparently.
Maintain overall accountability for the account while ensuring joint ownership with delivery counterparts.
Where account management support exists direct andmaximisethe value of that role to enhance engagement retention and growth.
Orchestrate the wider team including DeliveryOrganisation Practices Pre-Sales Partners and commercial specialists to deliver unified account outcomes.
Create shared accountability and ensure Version 1 consistently presents as one joined-uporganisationto the customer.
Extensive experience in a senior client-facing or account leadership role within a technology services or solutions environment.
Proven ability to deliver commercial success through revenue retention account growth and strategic expansion.
Demonstrable experience leading pursuits and managing end-to-end customer lifecycle across delivery commercial and technology functions.
Experience in the UK Public Sector market with a strong understanding of procurement frameworks contracting models and digital transformation trends.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence senior executives and internal teams.
Strong commercial acumen and ability to balance customer success with profitability.
Track recordof working with technology partners such as Microsoft AWS and Oracle to drive joint value propositions.
Achievement of revenue TCV and profitability targets for assigned accounts.
Growth of existing accounts through extensions renewals and expansion of services.
Customer satisfaction (CSAT / NPS) consistently at or above target.
Successful pursuit and closure of new opportunities both direct andpartner-led.
Demonstrated collaboration and alignment across Version1 delivery practice and partner teams.
