Job description

Below is a refined version of the job description with improved formatting and clarity:

Client Operational Support Coordinator/Data Analyst, England

Who are we?

We are a specialist sustainability consultancy working with leading telecommunication companies worldwide. As a family-owned, rapidly growing company with over 400% growth in the last three years, we provide sustainability solutions addressing climate change and workers’ rights for some of the largest global corporations. We are seeking a proactive, motivated individual to join our team for a varied and hands-on role.

The role:

The position involves working closely within a team in the global telecoms and electronics sectors. You will provide remote client support by managing the international administration of supplier sustainability audit processes and reporting. This is primarily an administration and customer liaison role; prior experience with the audit process is not required, but data analysis skills are essential.

We seek a flexible, motivated team player to develop within our existing operations support team. The successful candidate will collaborate with our IT team to enhance and support technology that enables our business processes.

After training, you will become a key member of the Operations Team, handling UK and international telecommunications clients and their global supply chains. The role focuses on two main areas: Customer Service and Data Analysis.

In the role you will:
  • Liaise with senior management clients, suppliers, and auditors verbally and in writing
  • Assist with audit processes, including platform usage and data analysis (full technical understanding of audits is not required; external auditors provide expertise). Full training on the audit platform will be provided.
  • Provide analysis and reporting as needed
  • Operate our systems to oversee the supplier audit process (training provided)
  • Troubleshoot issues when necessary
  • Participate in bi-weekly team calls and contribute to agendas
  • Perform ad hoc administrative tasks, including minute-taking
  • Support emerging business initiatives
  • Coordinate operational services delivery to clients, suppliers, and auditors
  • Collaborate with IT and systems teams on MI, data, and system design and delivery, including report generation and data manipulation in Excel
The ideal candidate would have:
  • At least five years’ experience in customer service within a corporate and supply chain management environment, with knowledge of sustainability practices being advantageous
  • Strong data analysis skills for MI reporting
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas and pivot tables
  • Experience with PowerPoint and related software
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Teams
  • Client-facing and back-office management experience is a plus
This role would suit:
  • Self-motivated individuals capable of working independently and collaboratively
  • Enthusiastic, people-oriented communicators
  • Responsible individuals who manage their workload effectively
  • Highly organized persons with keen attention to detail
Working arrangement:

This is a predominantly home-based role with occasional travel for team or management meetings. It is a part-time position requiring flexible hours over five days, with a minimum of 20 hours per week and occasional paid overtime.

Future opportunities may include involvement in strategic consulting and analysis for global sustainability initiatives as new projects launch.

Remuneration:
  • Company pension
  • Flexi-time
  • Work from home
Schedule:
  • Flexi-time
  • Monday to Friday

Work Location: Remote
