Job summary

Aon is seeking a Head of Client Money Governance in London, a hybrid role combining virtual work with time in the London office. You will be the key finance lead on client money compliance and accounting for fiduciary balance sheet.

As a qualified accountant, you will oversee governance, drive strategic initiatives, and ensure accurate month‑end reporting while mentoring colleagues in client money matters.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with knowledge of FCA CASS 5 client money requirements.
• Experience in auditing, accounting or reporting functions.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent verbal, organizational and communication abilities with influence.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the completion of client money calculations.
• Lead the client money governance by chairing the client money committee and maintaining procedures and controls.
• Drive strategic initiatives to improve client money compliance and finance processes.
• Ensure timely and accurate month‑end close for fiduciary ledgers and accounts, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Deliver an annual client money training module to relevant colleagues.
