Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience working in accounts.
  • Ability to communicate in Romanian and English.
  • Latest knowledge of tax legislations and accounting standards.

Responsibilities

  • Dealing with client queries around tax and accounts.
  • Preparing accounts up to trial balance stage.
  • Developing excellent relationships with clients.
  • Preparation and submission of VAT returns.
  • Preparing client self assessments.
  • Assisting with accounts finalisation.

About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly successful business and team. Our client is looking for an experienced client accountant.

About the Responsibilities
  • Dealing with client queries around their business mainly Tax and Accounts
  • Preparing Accounts up to Trial Balance Stage to be passed on to the Accounts Finalisation Team
  • Develop excellent relationships with clients
  • Dealing with HMRC when required mainly to reconcile the Accounts or missing payments. Not required to deal with client investigations.
  • Chase & Check Client Data for completeness
  • Preparation & submission of VAT Returns
  • Preparing client Self Assessments
  • Preparation & submission of corporate Tax returns
  • Dealing with Payroll & CIS
  • Assisting with Accounts Finalisation
  • Understanding client needs and introducing them to other teams (value‑added team e.g. Mortgage, Tax Investigation Cover, R&D claims, management Accounts). Ongoing training and support provided.
  • Contract Revisions – Ability to identify bad client or non‑profitable client
  • Client Tax Review Meetings
  • Good Knowledge of Money Laundering
