I am partnering with a respected and forward-thinking independent practice in Tonbridge to appoint an accomplished Client Manager.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a qualified accountant with at least five years of Practice experience who is ready to take on a strategic leadership role within a highly regarded firm.

The successful candidate will oversee a diverse fee base, manage and develop a small team, and play an integral role in shaping the future growth of the client portfolio.

Candidates with a particular strength in audit or tax will be especially welcomed, although a strong general practice background is equally valuable.

This position offers genuine autonomy, visibility within the leadership group and a platform to influence both client service and commercial direction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing a mixed portfolio of clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
  • Leading, mentoring and developing a small team.
  • Overseeing accounts, tax and advisory work, with the opportunity to utilise an audit or tax specialism.
  • Taking a central role in business development, networking and portfolio growth.
  • Working closely with partners on client strategy, planning and operational improvements.
About You
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA or equivalent).
  • Minimum five years of Practice experience.
  • Strong technical grounding, with audit or tax expertise considered highly advantageous.
  • Confident communicator with proven client-facing experience.
  • Leadership qualities with a desire to develop people and drive continual improvement.
  • Commercially minded and motivated to contribute to firm-wide growth.
