Job summary

Willis Re is seeking an Analyst for its Capital Solutions & Advisory team in London. The role is client-facing and involves developing presentations, conducting research and supporting transactions across (re)insurance, M&A and capital optimisation.

Ideal candidates will have 2–5 years of strategic insurance experience, strong PowerPoint skills, and a track record of coordinating multiple stakeholders in fast-paced environments. Proficiency with AI tools is preferred.

Qualifications

• A good degree in finance, economics, business or a related discipline.
• Experience in a client-facing role within (re)insurance, reinsurance broking, management consultancy, corporate finance or a similar environment.
• Numerate and commercially minded, with understanding of (re)insurance and capital concepts to explain actuarial/financial analysis clearly.
• Outstanding PowerPoint skills and ability to turn complex material into a compelling narrative.
• Proven project or programme management experience with multiple stakeholders.
• Extensive use of generative AI tools for research and content creation with good judgement.

Responsibilities

• Presentations and client materials: lead the preparation of pitch books, client and board-level presentations, proposals and RFP responses.
• Narrative on the analysis: translate quantitative results into a clear storyline and recommendations for senior management.
• Programme management: plan and run client engagements and transactions with timelines and action trackers.
• Client engagement support: act as a day-to-day point of contact and prepare colleagues for meetings.
• AI-enabled research: conduct ad hoc research on clients/markets with AI tools while checking sources.
• Market knowledge: maintain trackers on Lloyd’s, London, Bermuda and alt-capital markets and contribute to updates.
• Transaction support: assist in data rooms, Q&A, and investor feedback processes.
• Business development and governance: maintain CRM, support onboarding, KYC, conflicts and regulatory processes.
