Job summary

Doulaitou Management is seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our Liverpool-based team. You will own bookkeeping for a diverse client base and deliver accurate financial records across day-to-day, period-end, and reporting activities.

Responsibilities include reconciliations, stock counts, and year-end support while maintaining strong client relationships and providing proactive advisory. UK working rights are essential; Italian language ability is advantageous.

Qualifications

• AAT Level 2 or equivalent qualification is required.
• Experience in bookkeeping within practice is essential.
• Proficient in Sage 50 and Microsoft Excel; VAT knowledge.
• Full UK working rights; Italian language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping for a range of clients with accuracy.
• Prepare debtors, creditors and bank reconciliations for reports.
• Carry out stock counts and month-end activities.
• Attend to in-person banking needs for the business.
• Assist with year-end accounts and liaise with auditors as needed.
• Maintain client relationships and provide proactive financial advice.
• Contribute to process improvements and meet deadlines.
