Job summary

Digital Catapult is seeking a Technology Specialist in AI to apply cutting-edge AI technologies to real-world industry challenges. This client-facing role focuses on helping organisations understand, adopt and implement next-generation AI capabilities, translating business challenges into practical technical solutions.

You’ll work across innovation and growth projects, developing prototypes and demonstrators, and providing technical support across AI adoption initiatives while staying current

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing AI-enabled solutions in enterprise or innovation settings.
• Strong hands-on experience with modern AI technologies including LLMs, agentic AI, RAG, and orchestration frameworks.
• Excellent communication and ability to translate complex AI concepts for diverse audiences.
• Experience contributing to technical bids, proposals or innovation programmes would be desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support discovery and solution assessment activities with clients across AI and digital transformation projects.
• Evaluate architectures and data environments to identify AI integration opportunities.
• Design scalable AI solution architectures leveraging LLMs, RAG, and orchestration frameworks.
• Develop demonstrators, prototypes and PoCs for emerging AI capabilities.
• Collaborate with engineers and solution architects to ensure robust, secure, scalable solutions.
