  • Identify opportunities for organic growth, cross-selling and additional insurance solutions.
  • Provide strategic insurance advice, ensuring clients' evolving risks and requirements are understood.
  • Lead and support a small team, providing direction, guidance and day-to-day management.
  • Monitor team performance, workload and service delivery, ensuring client expectations are consistently met.
  • Coach and mentor team members, supporting their technical development and professional progression.
  • Assist with setting objectives, reviewing performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Encourage collaboration, accountability and a positive team environment.
  • Work closely with internal broking, claims and technical teams to deliver a joined-up service.
  • Negotiate with insurers to secure appropriate cover and competitive terms for clients.
  • Support new business development through networking, referrals and professional relationships.
  • Monitor account performance and ensure service standards and regulatory requirements are maintained.

  • A track record of client retention, account growth and identifying commercial opportunities.
  • Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and delivering tailored insurance solutions.
  • Confidence negotiating with insurers and managing client expectations.
  • Experience working towards commercial objectives while maintaining excellent service standards.
  • Relevant professional insurance qualifications, such as Cert CII or Dip CII, would be advantageous.
