A veterinary care provider in Plymouth is seeking a Client Care Manager to lead their support team. In this role, you will manage the team's performance, produce weekly rotas, and ensure high standards of customer service. The ideal candidate will have management experience in veterinary or customer service settings and a client-focused mindset. We are looking for a fantastic individual to join our team as a Client Care Manager at Plymouth Vet Group. Our Client Care team are the face of the practice and plays an essential role in delivering high standards of customer service as well as being the link to the clinical team. As a line manager, you will be required to produce the weekly rota, manage team absence, drive the performance of the team to achieve their deadlines and offer training, guidance and support for each team member to enable them to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Please be aware that this is a maternity cover contract lasting approximately 12 months.
With a total of 4 Veterinary sites, including a busy first opinion/referral Hospital, we aim to provide high-quality care for patients and their owners in all areas of Plymouth.
The role is primarily based at the main hospital in Derriford, with some travel to other sites to support the wider team. The practice is busy with a large client base, and in this role, you will lead the non-clinical support team in delivering high standards of customer service.
Ideally, the right person will have already gained management experience within a veterinary setting or from an alternative customer service setting. You must be a client-focused person, be highly organised, approachable, a team player, analytical and a logical problem solver to ensure your team always promotes good client care.
Working full-time fulfilling shifts between the hours of 8 am - 8 pm Monday to Friday, as well as weekends where required. Ideally, the line manager will cover core hours between 9 am - 6 pm regularly, with flexibility to start earlier or finish later as the rota demands.
