Job Description

We’re seeking an ambitious individual to join our Financial Planning team in Manchester. You will be responsible for providing full administrative support to Financial Planners, as well as building relationships with clients to deliver a positive and sleek client experience. You will be supported to grow personally and professionally, with a structured training programme offering Training & Competency oversight to excel personal development. Continuous professional development via ongoing studying and qualifications is encouraged, and you will have the opportunity to collaborate with experienced Investment Managers and Financial Advisers. This is a hybrid working role requiring office presence 3 days per week after probation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with aligned Financial Planners and/or Investment Managers to deliver excellent client outcomes.
  • Build relationships with clients and maintain regular contact.
  • Liaise with operational teams to support activities such as scripts, transfers, corporate actions, static data changes, and preparation of meetings.
  • Assist investment managers in preparing new business pitches and presentations.
  • Maintain back‑office systems and client records in line with company policies.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience working in the wealth management industry.
  • Experience providing support to Financial Advisors throughout the end‑to‑end process.
  • Experience dealing with HNW clients and ability to use judgement and reasoning to propose solutions to problems.
  • Knowledge of financial products (ISAs, Pensions, GIA, Offshore and Onshore bonds, etc.).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to build relationships.
  • Ability to fully plan workload and display excellent organisational skills.
