Job summary

Source Recruitment Group is partnering with a client to appoint a Client Accountant to join their expanding team. You’ll play a key role in preparing and reviewing management accounts, while undertaking bookkeeping and audit schedule preparation.

Ideally, you’ll be studying towards ACA/ACCA with a solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Familiarity with UK GAAP, IFRS and US GAAP is advantageous, and there are opportunities for growth within the business.

Qualifications

• In this role, you'll help prepare and review management accounts.
• Undertake bookkeeping activities to keep client ledgers up to date.
• Prepare audit schedules and assist with year-end processes.
• Take ownership of assigned client deliverables and deadlines.
• Ideally study towards ACA/ACCA, with strong accounting principles and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review client management accounts.
• Undertake day-to-day bookkeeping for clients.
• Prepare audit schedules for statutory reporting.
• Manage and deliver assigned client work on time.
• Support financial reporting under UK GAAP, IFRS and US GAAP as applicable.
