A growing property management company based in Birmingham city centre is currently recruiting for a Client Accountant on a 12-month fixed-term contract with a high chance of going permanent after the contract ends.
Your new role
- Understand and document specific client reporting requirements and operating procedures, ensuring that services are delivered.
- Respond promptly to routine queries from clients, tenants, and colleagues, providing analysis of the accounts as required.
- Ensure that data pertaining to the portfolio is complete and accurate, and is maintained on a timely basis.
- Ensure that postings are made promptly, efficiently, and accurately.
- Deliver regular reports in accordance with agreed timescales, ensuring all necessary reviews have been undertaken.
- Monitor rent, service charge, rates, and similar payments made on behalf of clients.
What you'll need to succeed
- Strong previous finance experience required.
- Previous experience of working in a property-related environment.
- Good knowledge of cash reconciliations, particularly reconciling all aspects of the Service Charge accounts.
