Job summary

Data Intellect is seeking experienced Consultants / Data Engineers to build scalable, high-performance data platforms, with a focus on ClickHouse. This is a chance to shape our new ClickHouse capability and work on challenging financial services projects.

You will engage directly with clients, design data models, and implement data pipelines across cloud-native architectures, leveraging Python, SQL and modern data engineering practices.

Qualifications

• Experience using ClickHouse in production
• Hands-on Go and/or Python development
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
• SQL knowledge for distributed databases
• Container orchestration with Kubernetes or Docker Swarm
• Automation tools: Ansible, Terraform or Puppet
• Commercial data engineering experience
• Designing and maintaining large-scale data pipelines
• Experience with high-volume or high-performance data platforms
• Experience in Capital Markets or Financial Services
• Strong data engineering principles
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication with technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Design scalable data engineering solutions
• Build high-performance data pipelines using Python and SQL
• Work with large-scale financial and time series datasets
• Design efficient data models and optimize analytic workloads
• Implement ClickHouse across client environments
• Collaborate with client engineering teams to understand challenges and deliver solutions
• Support cloud-based data platforms and distributed architectures
• Contribute to technical design discussions and best practices
• Help grow Data Intellect's ClickHouse capability
