Summary The governors of Lordsgate Township CE Primary School would like to appoint a skilled minute taker to support at governor's committee meetings at school.

Lordsgate is a friendly, happy and caring school family. The school has an excellent reputation in the community and has strong links with our church, St John the Baptist, Burscough. Our distinctive Christian ethos is a strength of the school.

The successful candidate will need to have administration experience and be able to accurately record full details of the governor's committee meetings by attending three committee meetings per term.

The position is offered on a part time basis with each meeting being for 2hours of an evening at school (usually a Wednesday) and 2 hours to prepare for the meeting and complete minutes at home within a week following the meeting. Total paid hours would be 12 hours, per term.

This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro -rata basis.

Essential Qualifications
  • GCSE or equivalent qualification in English and Mathematics
Desirable Experience
  • Experience of minute taking or clerking meetings.
  • Knowledge of school governance would be an advantage.
