Job summary

Crawford & Company is seeking a Clerk of Works to conduct interim site inspections for quality control on insurance reinstatement projects and to support surveying tasks from a home office. The role focuses on compliance, measurement, cost tracking, and meeting minutes production.

The Clerk of Works will bridge technical oversight with office-based surveying duties, ensuring projects meet design specifications, statutory requirements, and high quality standards while supporting timely delivery

• Supporting the managing Surveyor with project delivery and general project assistance.

Job description

Your role will include conducting interim site inspections on behalf of the managing Surveyor, to inspect ongoing works on insurance reinstatement projects for quality control, compliance, measurement and cost tracking purposes. You will also provide professional surveying services from your home office supporting the managing Surveyor with aspects such as production of meeting minutes, interim valuations, certification, and general project assistance.

You will be a key stakeholder in delivering projects on time, on budget, with a happy customer, and will be joining an industry leader with scope for significant career development.
