Experience required
Essential
- Current UK experience within a public, private or third sector UK based client
- Development Control, S278, S38 experience
- Experience in undertaking site-based quality inspections in line with highways standards
- Ability to produce detailed reports identifying remedials and non-compliances
- Ability to read and understand complex design drawings
- Good knowledge of Health & Safety with the ability to undertake audits on site
- NRSWA, CSCS, SMSTS certification
- A full UK driving licence
- Good communication skills
Desirable
- HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Proven experience of inspection and / or supervision of construction of a wide range of highway schemes
- Knowledge of highway law and statutory procedures relating to highways
- Knowledge of a range of construction materials and construction methods relating to highway works gained through relevant experience within the industry
