Job summary

Antrim Primary School is seeking a reliable Clerical Officer to provide administrative, clerical and secretarial support to the Principal and school staff.

The role requires organisational accuracy and proficient use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, with 26.25 hours per week across Mon-Thu and Friday. The pro rata salary ranges from £25,583 to £26,824 per annum.

Qualifications

  • Hold a minimum of five GCSEs including English and Maths (or equivalent).
  • Three years’ demonstrable experience in administrative/clerical work.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative, clerical and secretarial support to the Principal, staff and Board.
  • Operate information systems for pupils, staff, budgets, meals, exams and transport.
  • Manage mail, reception, diaries, minutes and secretarial tasks.
  • Assist with finance procedures, banking records and cash handling.
  • Support school office tasks and collaborative duties as required.
