A local authority is seeking a clerical and administrative support professional to assist the Community Support Service. Candidates should have relevant office experience and possess strong communication skills, with a focus on accuracy and effective teamwork. This role offers a starting salary of £25,994 with flexible work conditions.
To provide clerical and administrative support to Community Support Service
Provide a clerical and administrative support service to Community Support Service.
Enter data and update information on IT systems as required.
Attend training and staff meetings/ERDP as required.
Health and Safety.
Experience of working in a busy office environment using relevant technology and equipment e.g. photocopier, email, intranet/internet
Experience in clerical work including typing and word processing and data input.
4 SQA standard grades or equivalent at level 3 or above including English and Secretarial Studies or equivalent.
High level of accuracy in work
Ability to prioritise own workload Ability to use initiative in day to day tasks
Ability to participate as an effective team member
Effective written and oral communication skills
Effective organisational and time management Skills
Self confident and self motivated
Knowledge of software packages – e.g. Word; Excel; PowerPoint; Access

Ability to relate well with all levels of staff
Willingness to accept direction/delegation
Ability to develop effective working relationships
Ability to work in a shared office Ability to work in different offices depending on the needs of the service
