Grade 3 (£25,185 pa pro rata – actual £9,167 pa) Term Time Only

16 hours a week (8am to 4.30pm with half an hour for lunch, Thursday and Friday)

The Governors of The Croft Primary School are looking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced Clerical Assistant to join the team at the school.

The successful candidate will be supporting the school across a variety of duties to support the efficient and smooth running of the School Office.

The Clerical Assistant should:

  • A caring village school catering to children aged 4 - 11
  • Display a hardworking ethos
  • Be excited by the fast-paced environment of the school office
  • Be an excellent communicator – able to deal sensitively yet appropriately with a range of stakeholders including pupils, parents, staff, Governors, contractors and various professional agencies
  • Be flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances, prioritizing in a busy and often unpredictable environment
  • Have good IT skills to enable them to completely fulfil a range of administrative and financial tasks
  • Be willing to undertake any professional development required to keep abreast of new initiatives and help the Senior Leadership Team maintain its good level of provision
  • Understand the importance of confidentiality or working in a school environment
