A local government organization in the United Kingdom is seeking a Clerical Assistant for its Transport team. This role involves good literacy and numeracy skills, as well as the ability to operate office equipment and knowledge of software like Microsoft Office. The role demands the capability to organize tasks efficiently and work under pressure to meet service requirements. Candidates must demonstrate flexibility and teamwork. This is a 35 hours per week position, Monday to Friday.
An opportunity has arisen to join our Transport team as a Clerical Assistant. You should have good literacy and numeracy skills and be able to operate office equipment. You will have a working knowledge of relevant computer software packages such as Microsoft Office (Word/excel) and admin processes and systems. You will be able to plan, organise and complete allocated work within a set time and accurately record information from a variety of sources.
This post is a Monday – Friday, 35 hours post. You should be able to work alone or as part of a team and demonstrate a flexible approach to the needs of the section/ service/council. You will need to be able to work under pressure to achieve all client requirements as well as to meet operational Service Level Agreements.
