A local restaurant chain in Northern Ireland is seeking a Clerical Assistant to support the management team with various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have good communication skills and a basic understanding of Microsoft applications. Responsibilities include answering calls, typing correspondence, and maintaining filing systems. The position offers up to 25 hours per week, with flexible hours potentially available. This role is part of the JobStart Scheme aimed at eligible working-age benefit claimants.

Duties of the Clerical Assistant include providing support to our managers and employees, assisting in daily office needs and assisting our company’s general administrative activities. Answering and directing calls, taking messages, and making phone calls on behalf of the company. Using office equipment to check emails, make copies, and update computer databases. Typing forms, correspondence, memos, and other materials. Sorting, filing, and maintaining filing systems for efficient record keeping and easy retrieval.Completing assignments and projects according to instructions from managers. Completing tasks and activities in line with training, company guidelines and management direction. Follow workplace safety, security, and food hygiene procedures.
