West Monmouth School in Pontypool, Wales, is seeking a Clerical and Attendance Support Assistant to join our admin team. The role is 22.5 hours per week across 39 weeks per year and requires providing administrative support to the Attendance Officer and the broader staff.
The successful applicant will work in the main office, be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, and support with school administration. Experience in an educational setting is desirable, with training provided.

The successful applicant will be skilled and experienced in working with young people and the general public and will be required to provide administrative support not only to the Attendance Officer, but to all members of staff whilst working in the main office which is the first point of contact for visitors and callers to the school. Experience of working in an educational setting is desirable but full training in any specific packages or approaches will be provided. West Monmouth is an 11-16 mixed comprehensive school serving Pontypool and the surrounding area.
