gap technical are proud to be representing this manufacturing business in their search for a Cleanroom Operative to work at their facility based near Blackburn.

Performance Objectives

• Work in a cleanroom environment to assemble, inspect, and package aerospace components, following detailed work instructions and quality standards.
• Handle materials and components using appropriate cleanroom techniques, including the use of gloves, gowns, masks, and other protective gear.
• Perform visual inspections of components for defects, contamination, or damage, using microscopes or other magnification tools as required.
• Clean and maintain workstations, tools, and equipment to meet cleanroom cleanliness standards.
• Adhere to strict protocols for entering and exiting the cleanroom, including proper gowning procedures and airlock usage.
• Work with quality control and engineering teams to resolve any issues related to component cleanliness or assembly.
• Participate in regular cleanroom training sessions and stay up to date with the latest cleanroom procedures and best practices.
• Assist in the continuous improvement of cleanroom processes to enhance efficiency and product quality.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations specific to cleanroom operations.

Person Specification
