OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a reliable Cleaner to join our Soft Services team. You will clean stations and internal and external areas, ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for the client and users of the facilities.

Working with your team, you will carry out routine and deep cleaning, use specialist equipment and follow site safety procedures, DBS checks and COSHH requirements where applicable. A valid driving licence is required, and good English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning designated areas to high standards.
• Valid driving licence is required.
• Knowledge of COSHH and safe cleaning practices.
• BICSc training or certification.
• Training and awareness of rail safety.
• Ability to meet DBS requirements.
• Good English communication to understand safety instructions.
• Reliable and proactive team player.

Responsabilités

• Clean designated station areas, including floors, furniture, fixtures, glass and external spaces.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop and spot clean to maintain standards.
• Clean toilets and replenish supplies.
• Empty and clean waste and recycling bins.
• Operate cleaning machinery safely.
• Use approved cleaning products per COSHH.
• Support scheduled deep cleans and any driving duties.
• Follow risk assessments and safety briefings.
• Report defects or hazards promptly to the Chargehand.
• Work professionally with colleagues and the client, maintaining high standards of customer service.
• Undertake additional cleaning duties as directed by the supervisor or manager.
