Job summary

Dalkia UK is seeking a reliable Cleaning Supervisor for our Fartown, Huddersfield site. You will supervise the cleaning team, ensure standards meet the contracted specification, and support day-to-day operations under the Facilities Manager.

The role requires strong leadership, organisational skills, and a practical approach to delivering a reliable cleaning service while maintaining health and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• FM-service delivery experience and contract/service management knowledge.
• Client-focused with excellent communication.
• Previous supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, lead and support the cleaning team on a day-to-day basis.
• Monitor standards to meet the contracted specification and client expectations.
• Manage staffing levels and arrange temporary cover as needed.
• Oversee sickness and absence in line with company policies.
• Complete weekly timesheets and absence summaries.
• Deliver services within the contract budget using staffing and materials efficiently.
• Schedule deep cleans during school holidays.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and safe working practices.
• Report maintenance requests to the Technical Services Centre and escalate issues.
