Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor for 14Forty, Birmingham, to supervise a cleaning team and uphold top cleanliness standards. The role is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, with monitoring and guidance of the day-to-day tasks across the site.

You will lead shifts, ensure safe operation of cleaning processes, and drive continuous improvement. The role offers progression opportunities within a large hospitality group and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a cleaning team in a commercial setting.
• Strong leadership and training skills.
• Good understanding of health and safety practices, COSHH and related policies.
• Organised with a proactive, customer-focused approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the cleaning team to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Allocate daily tasks, monitor performance and provide guidance.
• Conduct regular inspections and address issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures and COSHH regulations.
• Manage supplies and equipment, report stock needs and optimise resources.
• Complete records, audits and reports to meet site standards.
