Job summary

Dazzle in London is hiring an experienced Cleaning Supervisor to oversee on-site teams and cover cleaners during absences. You will train staff, conduct safety checks, and ensure high-quality cleans across client sites. The role requires strong communication and the ability to work with a fast-growing tech-led cleaning platform.

The position includes evening hours (4 x hours per day) with potential overtime and future progression to a Senior Supervisor role after year one.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year supervisory cleaning experience.
• General knowledge of Health and Safety, COSHH and PPE.
• Excellent customer service and written communication skills.
• Ability to train cleaners and liaise with clients.

Responsibilities

• Cover cleaners during sickness/holidays (80% of the role).
• Manage keys between offices/HQ and cleaners.
• Meet, greet and train cleaners on first clean.
• Perform H&S checks and explain policies to staff.
• Train on the app timesheet system and use of Excel.
• Run spot checks across client sites for quality.
• Liaise with clients on account requirements and report to backend teams.
• Occasionally purchase equipment and deliver to sites.
• On occasions perform cleans to support the team.

Responsibilities and Duties: split between senior supervisor and cover cleaner

• Most importantlyCover cleaners sick /holidaydays where required this will be 80% of the job role
• Be available to pick up keys from offices/HQ and drop off to cleaners
• Meet, greet and train cleaners on their first clean
• Run a H&S (Health and Safety) check with the cleaners
• Explain company policies
• Train cleaners onhow to use our App time sheet system
• Run spot checks across ALL client sites to make sure cleans are being are to a top level
• Liaise with clients on any account requirements and resolve conflicts with our backend teams
• Occasionally purchase equipment and drop off to any client sites
• On occasions you will need to take on the cleans yourself, this is critical and we need a person to pull their sleeves up and deliver!

Must have:

• Be flexible with your hours working 4 x hours per evening
• General working knowledge of Health and Safety, COSHH and PPE - essential
• Minimum of 1 years Supervisory cleaning - essential
• Previous experience of supervising people is essential
• Applicants must possess competent communication and written skills and able to use mobile Apps, Excel spreadsheets etc
• A good hard working attitude
• Excellent customer service skill
• Great attention to detai
• Ability to manage mixed personalities calmley and diplomatically

• Have a advanced DBS certificate
• You will be someone that can get on with people and that can build relationships with cleaning teams, clients and back end management teams
• You will be the cleaning teams go to person/mentor
• You don't mind taking reguler instructions and reporting to management on a daily basis by video or audio calls.
