Job summary

Kindred is seeking a dynamic Cleaning Supervisor to manage an on-site cleaning team at an educational site in Tonbridge. You will lead, train and support staff while ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the contract.

As a key on-site leader you will monitor health and safety, manage cleaning materials, and develop efficient schedules. The role requires reliable attendance at fixed shifts and clear English communication to coordinate with the team and client.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning or supervising experience.
• Able to commit to fixed working hours and shifts.
• Can reliably commute to the site location.
• Able to meet the physical demands of the role with reasonable adjustments.
• Strong leadership and team motivation skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to cleaning operations.

Responsibilities

• Empower and motivate your team through comprehensive training and ongoing support.
• Complete and submit timesheets accurately and on time.
• Ensure all contracted cleaning hours are delivered.
• Monitor hours worked against allocated hours and highlight shortfalls.
• Ensure any additional hours or overtime are agreed in advance.
• Conduct thorough inspections, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations and quality standards.
• Efficiently manage stock levels of cleaning materials and supplies.
• Develop and implement effective work schedules, allocating tasks for seamless workflow.

As a key leader in our on-site operations, you will:

• Experience in managing stock levels of cleaning materials and supplies.

Desired criteria

• Experience within the cleaning or facilities management industry.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations (e.g., COSHH).
• Proficiency in basic computer applications for tasks such as scheduling and reporting.
• Relevant certifications in cleaning or facilities management.
• Proven experience as a Cleaning Supervisor.
