Job summary

Kindred are seeking a reliable Cleaning Supervisor to oversee operations at an educational site in Tonbridge, Kent. The role demands strong leadership to coordinate daily tasks and ensure high standards of cleanliness.

You will inspect work, manage stock of cleaning materials, implement shift schedules, uphold health and safety regulations, and communicate clearly with the team. Fixed shifts and on-site presence are required.

Qualifications

• Conduct thorough inspections, ensuring strict adherence to health & safety regulations and our rigorous quality standards.
• Efficiently manage stock levels of cleaning materials and supplies, optimising resources.
• Develop and implement effective work schedules, allocating tasks to ensure seamless and efficient workflow. Previous cleaning or supervising experience.
• Must be able to commit to working hours as these hours are fixed.
• Can reliably commute to the site location.
• Able to complete the physical demands of the role with reasonable adjustments.
• Complete tasks within a specified timeframe.
• An ability to communicate in English, although English as a first language is not a requirement., Able to fulfil the fixed shift patterns of the role.
• Demonstrated ability to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Strong leadership and team motivation skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to cleaning operations.
• Experience in managing stock levels of cleaning materials and supplies.

Desired criteria

• Experience within the cleaning or facilities management industry.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations (e.g., COSHH).
• Proficiency in basic computer applications for tasks such as scheduling and reporting.
