Job summary

ABM is seeking an evening supervisor to lead a dedicated cleaning team in Nottingham. You will set the tone for teamwork, reliability, and service excellence, ensuring spaces are spotless and clients are delighted.

The role requires coaching, strong communication, and the ability to manage shifts, schedules, and resources while upholding ABM’s values of respect, integrity, collaboration and excellence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cleaning or facilities supervision, evening/night shift preferred.
• Ability to lead a diverse team and maintain high standards of service.
• Strong communication and organizational skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all evening cleaning operations, ensuring standards and schedules are met.
• Train, motivate, and support team members to foster accountability.
• Conduct regular quality checks and address issues promptly.
• Serve as point of contact for clients and site management during shifts.
• Manage supplies, equipment, and daily paperwork accurately.
• Identify process improvements for efficiency and safety.
• Support recruitment and onboarding of new team members.

SHIFT PATTERN: 28.75 Hours Per Week, 1500 - 2100 (Mon - Fri)

Lead our dedicated team of cleaning professionals to deliver exceptional standards in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. As the evening supervisor,you’ll set the tone for teamwork, reliability, and service excellence—ensuring every space is spotless and every client is delighted.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all evening cleaning operations, ensuring standards and schedules are consistently met
• Train, motivate, and support team members—fostering a positive, accountable culture
• Conduct regular quality checks and address issues promptly
• Act as point of contact for clients and site management during evening shifts
• Manage supplies, equipment, and accurate completion of daily paperwork
• Identify process improvements for efficiency and safety
• Support recruitment and onboarding of new team members
• Proven experience in cleaning or facilities supervision (evening/night shift preferred)
• Strong communicator who leads by example and builds trust
• Confident problem-solver with an eye for detail
• Ability to coach, develop, and motivate diverse teams
• Organised and proactive—can juggle priorities and stay calm under pressure
