Are you an experienced and proactive Cleaning Supervisor looking to make a real impact? Sodexo is seeking a dedicated leader to oversee our cleaning operations in King's Lynn, ensuring our teams deliver exceptional standards of hygiene, safety, and service every day. In this pivotal role, you will champion Health & Safety, safe working practices, and compliance with all Company and Client policies-including fire, COSHH, and workplace hygiene regulations. You'll also play a key part in building strong, positive relationships across all levels of the business and client organisation, fostering a collaborative and high-performing working environment.

What You'll Do:
  • Supervise and deliver Sodexo cleaning services to the standards set out in the Service Level Agreement, ensuring quality across all designated areas.
  • Support and oversee multi-skilled cleaning teams, including day cleaning, housekeeping, office and toilet cleaning, and other operational tasks.
  • Carry out daily cleaning duties such as recycling, confidential waste handling, litter picking, cleaning of common areas, and responding promptly to spillages and client requests.
  • Maintain full knowledge of cleaning equipment, materials, and chemicals; ensure safe and correct use, report maintenance issues, and uphold proper storage and safety signage standards.
  • Handle customer or client concerns by escalating them appropriately, support reasonable management requests, and provide flexibility to cover sickness or holiday absence within the team.
What You Bring:
  • Proven experience in cleaning management or supervisory roles, with a strong understanding of industry standards.
  • Skilled in motivating, coaching, and supporting individuals to improve performance and effectiveness.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, support, and develop a high-performing cleaning team.
  • Confident in managing stock, ordering supplies, and ensuring full compliance with COSHH requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with staff, clients, and customers at all levels.
