Requirements

• Under the direction of the FM Services Area Manager, to secure the efficient and cost-effective day to day operation of FM Services.
• To plan, travel and visit sites to complete inspections and audits.
• Hold individual responsibilities as well as assisting the FM Area Manager to ensure all buildings are clean and hygienic for customers, visitors and all stakeholders.
• To ensure compliance with Health and safety legislation is adhered to all times.
• To stand in for holiday and sickness cover and to carry out ad-hoc duties.

Responsibilities

1. The supervisor will allocate routine/general tasks to the cleaning team, dealing with matters arising, escalating concerns and report unresolved issues to the Area Manager
2. Carry out systematic and regular checks on work in progress and completed, ensuring that standards of quality, service and pre-determined frequencies are maintained, safe working methods are adhered to, and to complete any necessary records associated with the task.
3. Work closely in partnership with FM Area Managers to improve service standards by identifying and correcting shortcomings in employee performance
4. To support, manage and train the cleaning team within the FM service area.
5. To ensure cleaning operations on sites comply with all relevant H&S procedures and COSHH Regulations.
6. Ensure effective cleaning standards are followed in line with cleaning specifications for each individual site.
7. The supervisor is responsible for carrying out routine audits, site inspections, reporting machinery faults and maintaining stock control/orders.
