Mitie Group plc. is seeking an experienced Cleaning Supervisor for a part-time role in Chichester. The role covers supervision of cleaning staff, recruitment and development, and ensuring service standards across a Mitie client site.

The position requires managing schedules, training on health & safety, distributing uniforms, monitoring cleanliness, and stock control. A reliable, proactive candidate is preferred, with strong communication skills.

Cleaning supervisor required Monday to Friday 15.00pm to 19.00pm

We are looking for an experienced Cleaning Supervisor to work with a range of Mitie clients to manage a cleaning team, including recruitment and development of staff and maintain excellent service standards for the delivery of routine planned and periodic cleaning for a Mitie customer.

You will be responsible for the delivery of routine planned and periodic cleaning. You will ensure that the cleaning staff understand and work to task schedules while following the correct Health & Safety procedures by providing technical training as and when required. You will distribute uniforms, monitor standard of cleanliness and the use of materials and order stocks as necessary. You will deal with any issues efficiently and in a professional manner, referring to line manager where appropriate.

The ideal candidate will have previous supervisory and cleaning experience. They will have good communication skills, be reliable and hardworking with a professional attitude and they will be able to work to a schedule on their own initiative.
