Job summary

Medirest is recruiting a Cleaning Supervisor on a full-time basis (42 hours per week) to help ensure the smooth running of healthcare operations. The role rewards dedication with opportunities to progress within a company that values individuality and invests in its people.

As a Cleaning Supervisor you will lead frontline staff, oversee rotas, manage stock, and ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards. Shifts are variable, and you will play a key role in maintaining service quality.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising frontline teams in a similar healthcare environment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Team player with a can-do attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly
• Supervising a team, creating a positive environment where the team feel welcomed and supported
• Being a responsible key holder
• Assisting with weekly bookwork and any other duties that are necessary
• Producing weekly rotas following the manager's guidelines
• Placing orders for stock to maintain the correct stock levels
• Delegating where necessary and ensuring the team are proactive at all times
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations

Job description

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Cleaning Supervisor to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Healthcare on a full time basis, contracted to 42 hours per week.
