Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Cleaning Operative to help maintain safe, clean environments across customer workspaces. You will undertake hands-on tasks in shared areas, floors and washrooms, with a focus on quality and safety in daily cleaning routines.

Shifts are part-time and include: Wednesday 06:00–10:00, Saturday 06:00–10:00, Sunday 10:00–18:00, with UK time zone. You may interact with customers in open spaces and must be able to assist them if needed and complete Health & Safety records.

Qualifications

• Right to Work in the UK.
• Smartphone required to use Timegate Time and Attendance system to clock in and out on site when scheduled to work.
• A background in cleaning would be advantageous, but full training is provided.
• Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Tidying up work areas, cleaning floors and communal areas.
• Hands on physical tasks that can require standing for periods of time, e.g. vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, emptying bins and washroom cleaning.
• If the site cleaning is during the day or night in open, public spaces, you may come into regular contact with customers and assist them with cleaning queries or incidents.
• Complete all relevant Health & Safety records and attend training courses when needed.
