Job summary

Unifi Aviation UK & Ireland is seeking Aircraft Cleaners for Stansted Airport to work night shifts from 22:00 to 06:00. You will join a fast-paced, on-site team responsible for deep cleans and rapid turnarounds, ensuring cabins meet high safety and cleanliness standards.

You should be proactive, adaptable and capable of working with others to deliver quality cleaning across aircraft interiors and employee areas.

Qualifications

• Ability to work under pressure to schedules and adapt quickly to client needs.
• Must be able to work shifts, bank holidays and weekends.
• Full UK manual driving licence is desirable.
• Good attention to detail to maintain cleaning standards.
• Previous aircraft cleaning experience would be highly beneficial.
• Valid Passport/ID and right to work in the UK.
• Must be willing to undergo relevant training and maintain safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to engagement and continuous improvement within the cleaning team.
• Work with the team on night stop cleans or deep cleaning tasks.
• Remove rubbish and dispose of it properly.
• General cleaning of offices and staff areas.
• Restock cleaning vehicles and equipment.
• Clean interior aircraft cabins, vacuum and wipe surfaces.
• Replenish airline materials in seat pockets as required.
• Clean and sanitise lavatories and galleys, mop floors.
• Arrange seat belts, headrests, pillows and blankets.
• Clean exterior of the aircraft as needed.
• Maintain a safe working environment and PPE usage.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Aircraft Cleaner vacancy at Stansted Airport

• 22:00 - 06:00
• 5 nights on, 3 nights off
• £13.62 per hour
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence preferred but not essential

Role Summary

An Aircraft Cleaner must be proactive and adaptable and strive to ensure the highest levels of cleaning standards are consistently met. You should be able to work with a team carrying out a variety of cleaning tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• To contribute to a culture of engagement, involvement and continuous improvement within the cleaning team.
• To work within a team carrying out night stop cleans or within the deep clean team.
• Removing rubbish from the aircraft and making sure that it is properly disposed of.
• General cleaning of offices and staff area.
• Restocking of cleaning vehicles and equipment.
• Cleaning interior areas of aircraft cabin including removal of blankets, vacuuming carpets, wiping down equipment and surfaces.
• Replenish seat pockets with airline material as per customer specification.
• Clean lavatories, wash basins, surfaces, mirrors and replenish lavatory supplies.
• Clean and sanitise galleys, mopping floors.
• Arrange seat belts, placement of headrests, pillows and blankets.
• Clean exterior of the aircraft as required.
• Always maintain a safe working environment, especially when using equipment and PPE.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Skills/Qualities required

• Ability to work under pressure to schedules and adapt quickly to suit client needs.
• Ability to work shifts, bank holidays and weekends.
• A full manual driving licence recognised by the UK is desirable.
• Good attention to detail to take pride in cleaning standards.
• Previous aircraft cleaning experience would be highly beneficial.
• Valid Passport/ID and right to work in the UK.
• Proof of Address and National Insurance Number.
• 5 years' check-able work history.
• Receipt of a satisfactory standard disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
• Must be willing to undergo relevant training as required.
• Zero tolerance approach to health & safety non-compliance.
