GFSL is seeking a Cleaning Operative at HMP Parkhurst, Newport, to support a secure, well-maintained prison environment. The role is permanent, 39 hours per week, with a salary of £27,276.60 per year. You will join a dedicated facilities team delivering safe, clean and compliant services to staff and inmates.

Job Role: Cleaning Operative

Location: HMP Parkhurst, Clissold Rd, Newport. PO30 5NX

Salary: £27,276.60 per annum

Contract: Permanent - 39 hrs per week - Mon-Sun

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning Operative to join our team at HMP Parkhurst, a category B, adult male prison.

Future Plans.

GFSL has been notified by it's shareholder (MOJ) that the provision of FM Services will in future be delivered by the private sector. This means that following a successful procurement process, GFSL's services will complete transfer to a private sector provider/providers no sooner than August 2027.
