Job summary

Ryanair - Europe’s Favourite Airline in Prestwick, UK is seeking staff for daily Hangar cleaning. You will maintain cleanliness in hangar, canteen, toilets, and offices, performing sweeping, vacuuming and mopping, and disposing of waste with care.

Applicants should be able to handle heavy equipment, work weekends, and pass a Disclosure Scotland check. This full-time role requires teamwork, reliable communication, and self-motivation in a busy airport environment.

• Experience in a cleaning role is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for day-to-day cleaning of the Hangar facility.
• General cleaning of the canteen, toilets, and office areas.
• Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors and empty waste bins.
• Assist with heavy cleaning and deep cleaning on request.
• Handle cleaning solutions safely and dispose of waste properly.
• Perform other duties as requested by supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the day-to-day cleaning of the Hangar facility.
• General cleaning of the canteen, toilets, and office areas:
• Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors
• Emptying waste bins, servicing restrooms, and wiping down communal surfaces
• Tackle heavy cleaning and deep cleaning jobs upon request
• Mix and dispose of all cleaning solutions appropriately
• Any other duties as requested by your supervisor / manager.

Requirements

• Ability to handle any heavy equipment and machinery used in cleaning.
• Ability to walk, bend, push, pull and lift repetitively during working hours.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as a team.
• Self-motivation and the ability to identify and complete needed tasks without direct supervision.
• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
• All applicants must be available to work shifts, including weekends.
• Successful candidate is required to obtain a clean Disclosure Scotland to work at UK airports.
• All applicants must have the unrestricted right to work in the UK.
