Zusammenfassung

Sodexo Ltd is seeking a Cleaning Operative for a full-time role at our prestigious corporate client site in York. You will carry out cleaning duties across offices, toilets, communal and breakout areas, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene while following COSHH and safety procedures.

We value attention to detail, reliability and a proactive approach. You will work as part of a team, report issues to your supervisor and participate in training.

Aufgaben

• Carry out a range of cleaning duties across designated areas, including offices, toilets, communal spaces and breakout areas, ensuring consistently high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Complete scheduled cleaning tasks efficiently and to the required standards.
• Use cleaning equipment, products and materials safely and correctly, following established cleaning procedures.
• Follow COSHH, Health & Safety and hygiene procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Wear the appropriate PPE when required.
• Maintain cleaning cupboards and storage areas, ensuring they are clean, tidy and appropriately stocked.

What you'll do:

• Carry out a range of cleaning duties across designated areas, including offices, toilets, communal spaces and breakout areas, ensuring consistently high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Complete scheduled cleaning tasks efficiently and to the required standards.
• Use cleaning equipment, products and materials safely and correctly, following established cleaning procedures.
• Follow COSHH, Health & Safety and hygiene procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Use appropriate safety signage and barriers when carrying out cleaning activities.
• Follow colour-coding procedures to prevent cross-contamination.
• Wear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required.
• Maintain cleaning cupboards and storage areas, ensuring they are clean, tidy and appropriately stocked.
• Identify and report any equipment faults, maintenance issues, hazards or safety concerns to your supervisor.
• Complete cleaning records, checklists and any required documentation accurately.
• Respond professionally to customer enquiries, concerns or complaints, escalating issues when necessary.
• Work proactively to maintain cleanliness standards and support the wider cleaning team.
• Build positive working relationships with colleagues, customers and site teams.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve cleaning services.
• Support additional cleaning, facilities or hospitality duties when reasonably required.
• Work flexibly to provide additional cover during periods of holiday or sickness when available.
