  • Detail work i.e. skirtings, sills, fixtures, bins, columns
  • Glazing cleaning
  • Reacting to spillages and associated cleaning
  • Waste removal to compactor and bin recycling areas
  • Following group and company policies
  • Reporting deficiencies in systems of work or equipment
  • Using work equipment and PPE properly

Overview

LOCATION: Galleries Shopping Centre

HOURS: Zero hours up to 44 hours per week

PAY RATE: £12.21 PER HOUR

Role Overview And Purpose

Your duties will involve cleaning as part of a team a busy shopping center and Bus station along with external areas such as car parks. The job will entail using machinery such as a T7, t500,t300 along with hoovering of matting, mopping, Reacting to spillages, and toilet cleaning. You must have good attention to detail and high standards of cleaning. You will be responsible for disinfecting areas as per planner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Using Site Cleaning equipment
  • Scrubbing kitchens and toilets
  • Hoovering and mopping floors
  • Disinfecting all high touch points
  • Detail work i.e. skirtings, sills, fixtures Bins, Columns etc.
  • Glazing cleaning
  • Reacting to Spillages and associated cleaning of.
  • Waste removal to compactor and bin recycling areas.
  • Following group and company policies and procedures
  • Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment.
  • Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received.
  • Report any issues or training needs to your Line manager and /or via your divisional incident reporting system.
