Job summary

MercoFS is seeking a Cleaning Operative to join our team in Preston. The role covers general cleaning, including toilets and office areas, with early morning shifts from 6am to 12pm, Monday to Friday.

You will work independently, be reliable, and report any issues to your supervisor. Previous cleaning experience is preferred, and you will help maintain a safe, clean store environment for our customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning tasks including toilets, office areas and rest areas.
• Dusting surfaces.
• Mopping floors.
• Cleaning toilets.
• Wash pots and kitchen areas where necessary.
• Lifting buckets as needed.
• Wiping low and high points.
• Other cleaning activities as necessary.
• Reporting issues to supervisor.
