Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations relating to safe systems of work, health & safety, hygiene, cleanliness, fire and COSHH.
  • Passionate about providing an exceptional standard of cleaning.
  • Carry out a variety of cleaning tasks in both clinical and non‑clinical areas.
  • Work to a timescale agreed with your manager.
  • Develop your skills and knowledge with enthusiasm.
  • Act in a professional manner at all times.
  • Perform any other duties as may be necessary, compatible with the nature of the post.

Working independently and as part of a team, the cleaning operative will take pride and responsibility for the cleaning of both clinical and non‑clinical areas of the hospital on an evening. This role is vital for infection control and reflects the high standard of client care service we achieve. This is a permanent part‑time position of working 16 h per week (Thursday – Sunday). Be able to work on your own initiative.
