Job summary

Class 1 Personnel is seeking a Cleaning Operative in Milton Keynes to join a dedicated onsite team. You will perform a range of cleaning duties in a venue, reporting to a Cleaning Supervisor and ensuring high standards of hygiene and safety.

The role requires reliable, punctual candidates with prior cleaning experience and the ability to work days. Basic English communication is preferred. Applicants should be prepared for flexible hours and a supportive employer.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning with two references required.
• Able to work days and onsite as instructed.
• Basic English communication preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning tasks include rubbish pickup, toilet cleaning, sweeping and mopping.
• Vacuuming carpets, bin emptying and seat cleaning.
• Wash metal staircases and remove chewing gum, sanitize ablution facilities.
• Report suspicious behaviour to supervisor promptly.
• Maintain effective communication with supervisor and client.
• Adhere to site safety rules and dress codes.
• Attend shifts on time and be prepared to work flexible hours.
• Basic English communication is preferred.

We’re looking for a talented Cleaning Operative to work for our client in Milton Keynes. They want to recruit someone with demonstrable background of previous experience in the field. If that’s you then you could be exactly what they’re looking for, even if you’ve got limited work experience.

Hours: Days

Work Time: Depends on venue operation.

Role Description: Reporting to a Cleaning Supervisor and working as part of a team, this role is responsible for cleaning an area within a venue.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning tasks include; picking up rubbish, toilet cleaning, detail cleaning, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming carpets, emptying bins, seat cleaning, washing metal stair cases, removing chewing gum from all areas and sanitising ablution facilities.
• Communicate all suspicious behaviour and potential security risks to your area supervisor as soon as possible
• Effective communication is maintained with the Cleaning Supervisor and the client.
• Adhere to the site regulations for safety
• All dress and behaviour codes are followed, understood and adhered to.
• Reporting on time to all rostered shifts.
• Preparedness to work flexible hours.
• In order to satisfy the above, it is preferable to speak and understand basic communication in English
